What should I pack?
Your wellies and warm coat (this may not be needed, but you never know with the English weather!). Swimming costume or trunks for wild swimming in the lake, and any provisions for your stay.
There will be a small bottle of milk in the fridge and biscuits for a cup of tea. Plus, the cabin is stocked with all the essentials you’ll need for stay, such as tea, coffee, olive oil salt & pepper, etc.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes! We absolutely love welcoming dogs and take great joy in seeing them enjoy their holiday just as much as their owners. Please keep an eye on your dog(s) at all times, this is a working farm and owners must take full responsibility.
Try not to let them wander over to the other cabins & please do not leave dogs unattended in cabins whilst you go out.
All of our cabins are custom designed with high quality interiors, so please also remember to give them a rinse off after a long walk or swim in the lake, we provide doggy shampoo which is kind to their skin.
How far is the nearest shop or pub?
A 10 minute drive, or a 40 minute countryside walk. Follow the canal to The Wharf at Goldstone or Norbury Junction, take a short drive to The Cock Inn at Woodseaves, or make an evening of it at the acclaimed Bear at Hodnet - a must visit for food lovers.
