The Walnut Tree Hut

A cosy hillside hideaway with uninterrupted rural views, the Walnut Tree Hut is made for peaceful, grown-up escapes. With its own private hot tub, generous decking, and thoughtful little extras, this is the perfect place to switch off, wander the countryside, and enjoy quiet moments together. Important to note: This is an adult only retreat - babies and children are not permitted, making it a peaceful escape for couples. Bedding and towels are not provided, so please bring your own duvet, pillows, sheets, and cosiest comforts. There is no WiFi or TV in the hut, encouraging a true digital detox and a chance to reconnect with nature. However, we do recieve good phone signal in the area.

Fire pit & BBQ

All equipment for bbqing can be found hanging in the outdoor bathhouse, whilst lighters and marshmallows will be stocked inside the cabin. If you wish to make use of the fire pit, logs can be purchased in advance of your stay for £15 per log box. These can be purchased as an add-on upon booking.

EV Charging

Convenient on-site charging is available during your stay.

Smart controls

Whilst we love guests to reconnect, with the countryside we couldn’t help but include a few added extras. The lighting & heating can be controlled through Alexa, further details for which will be provided upon booking.

Dog friendly

We absolutely love welcoming dogs and take great joy in seeing them enjoy their holiday just as much as their owners. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome in each cabin, however we do charge £25 extra per stay. All of our rentals are custom designed with high quality interiors, so please remember to give your dogs a good rinse off after a long walk or swim in the lake. We provide doggy shampoo which is kind to their skin. Please note, that this is a working farm, and owners must take full responsibility for their pets.

Outdoor bath

Enjoy the luxury of a deep tub with scented bubbles under open skies. We’ve also included slippers inside of the cabin, so your feet don’t get cold on the walk back indoors!

Ovens, induction hobs, fridge-freezers and thoughtful basics.

Rainfall shower

With lavender and geranium eco-friendly toiletries (and dog shampoo!).

King size bed

Layered with Hungarian goose feather and down for the dreamiest sleep.
